Position Overview

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager, Lifecycle with a strong background in customer engagement and retention strategies, with a focus on optimizing the customer journey from acquisition through to long-term loyalty to join our team and drive the success of AOL. This role requires a deep understanding of both product management and lifecycle marketing tactics, data analysis, and a passion for driving measurable results. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of leading cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious retention targets.

As a Product Marketing Manager, Lifecycle, you will be a key driver of marketing efforts aimed at boosting retention and revenue growth. You will design, implement, and optimize scalable lifecycle campaigns across various user segments and life stages, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience. Your relentless focus on user experience and channel optimization will help create an outstanding product engagement program. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that maximize customer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue throughout the entire customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies that increase customer retention, loyalty, and revenue. 

  • Co-create and manage customer segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize the customer journey.

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including on and off-product digital campaigns, newsletters, and triggered messages that increase frequency, generate revenue and reduce churn.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, media, CRM and analytics, to develop and execute initiatives, ensuring a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop an engaging content strategy used to personalize user experience and drive discoverability. 

  • Monitor, analyze, and report campaign performance to optimize results and ROI.

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for improving the customer experience.

  • Develop and maintain a testing and experimentation framework to continuously improve campaign performance and customer experience.

  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and needs to inform marketing strategy.

  • Ability to manage creative / media agencies on the execution of performance marketing campaigns and timeline /budget management 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing, specifically with a specific focus in lifecycle marketing for software products.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful lifecycle campaigns, including owned and paid channels.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proven track record working on a multi-platform product - desktop, mWeb and mobile app 

  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, specifically Zeta, and analytics platforms.

  • Extremely organized and can manage multiple projects at the same time. 

  • Has an entrepreneurial mindset. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

The compensation for this position ranges from $102,000.00 - $212,500.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
