The Product Marketing team uses creativity, market research, and insights to optimize and inspire roadmaps for products across Snap Inc. This team of Product Marketers works in a highly collaborative environment to deliver go-to-market efforts and strategies to demonstrate the role that Snapchat plays in the lives of our community and helps businesses grow.

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead Go To market strategies for Snapchat’s brand marketing solutions with a focus on our creator offering.

What you’ll do: 

  • Partner closely with our Product Management & Sales teams to launch advertising products and grow their adoption in North America 

  • Represent product teams in the markets by setting goals, managing product launches and implementing activations in order to drive adoption. Collaborate with technical and operations teams to monitor product performance.

  • Be a recognized Upper funnel marketing expert and develop go-to market strategies and plans, including product positioning, narrative, internal communications, and marketing activation strategies

  • Use your market knowledge and analytical mindset to properly inform the roadmap through the collection and systematic extraction of key themes coming in from marketers and advertisers who use the platform.

  • Drive successful cross functional alignment on go to market strategy & planning and track success metrics accordingly

  • Inspire and educate both internal and external teams on Snapchat’s Brand solutions for advertisers

  • Build frameworks and processes to structure conversations, create & socialize marketing initiatives, and drive alignment across teams and leadership

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Deep knowledge of the video digital ads competitive landscape, especially for brands looking to increase awareness and consideration.

  • Deep knowledge of the creator economy and opportunities for brands to partner with creators on social media platforms

  • Understanding of marketers needs for brand building in verticals like CPG, Tech, Retail and Entertainment

  • Ability to transform complex and nuanced concepts into simple actionable tasks

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills; ability to identify new opportunities and improve overall product marketing strategy 

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute go-to-market plans 

  • A team player who can successfully work cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups, both within Snapchat and across partner organizations, with minimal guidance

  • Strong public speaking skills and comfortable presenting to large groups

  • Ability to lead market research to identify new opportunities through qualitative and quantitative analysis, constantly assess the capabilities and value proposition of our ad products via market trends, advertiser feedback and competitive benchmarking.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing/product strategy or other relevant digital marketing/sales work 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in product marketing, product management, strategy at a technology or advertising technology company

  • Solid track record in launching products & driving global adoption

  • At ease with data analytics tools, such as Looker & Excel, and working with Data Science or Data Engineering teams

  • Well versed with Social media ads manager platforms, and digital advertising measurement tools

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $142,000-$214,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $135,000-$203,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $121,000-$182,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
