Join our dynamic Customer Data Platform, Digital Channels Product team as a Product Manager III, driving the next phase of customer engagement through our robust Customer Data Platform (CDP). As the Product Manager, Customer Data Platform (CDP) leading the Marketing Automation & Platform Enhancement for Business Readiness Scrum Team, you will be pivotal in executing and delivering key initiatives that drive the Customer Data Platform's evolution. This role demands deep collaboration with the MarTech, Digital Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Sales, and Data teams to enhance business outcomes, streamline marketing automation, and drive platform innovation. You will also play a crucial role in managing cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders, and effectively running a scrum environment using Agile methodology and Jira. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the Marketing Automation & Platform Enhancement Scrum Team: Take ownership of platform enhancements, decommissioning legacy systems, and migrating campaigns, audiences, and segments to ensure marketing effectiveness, platform readiness, and alignment with business goals.

  • Unify Data: Oversee the migration of workflows and data segments to a unified platform. Ensure smooth transitions and successful integrations with external data sources.

  • Campaign Migration: Oversee the migration of marketing audiences from legacy systems to the new platform, ensuring that data flows, segmentation, and tracking mechanisms are maintained to support effective campaign execution.

  • Marketing Automation: Automate manual processes, such as prospect list ingestion and migrating non-standard lists to the new platform. Improve segmentation and optimize marketing outreach through automation.

  • Analytic Enablement & Dashboard Development: Enable analytics capabilities by integrating data exploration tools and developing performance dashboards to track engagement, ROI, and data quality. Provide stakeholders with insights to enhance decision-making.

  • Observability & Monitoring: Implement platform observability and manage data stream failures by leveraging monitoring tools like DataDog. Establish alerting systems to ensure resilience and quick identification of issues.

  • Service Request Process Optimization: Streamline the internal service request process by transitioning from manual forms to an optimized request management system. Enhance visibility, tracking, and prioritization of incoming requests for greater efficiency.

  • Leverage Data to Measure Results: Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to measure results, inform the product roadmap, and drive adoption, benefit realization, and financial outcomes.

  • Drive Scalable Data Solutions: Collaborate with Senior Product Managers, Analytics, Engineering, and Business Leaders to drive the development and implementation of scalable data solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Stakeholder Presentations: Present effectively to high-level stakeholders, setting clear priorities and direction, while building strong relationships and ensuring alignment across teams and groups.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product Management, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and UX teams to understand product features and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Translate Business Requirements into User Stories: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into user stories for Data & Analytics, technical, and engineering teams, ensuring alignment with broader product goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of making data-driven decisions to influence product direction.

  • Ideal candidate has experience with omni-channel campaigns using a CDP, driving alignment between stakeholders in complex cross-functional projects or experience with MarTech and Marketing Automation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across various teams.

  • A track record of successful CDP and/or marketing automation system implementation aligned with broader business goals, demonstrating an understanding of the relationship between data and marketing performance.

Experience You’ll Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or related) or related experience with 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager or a combination of Product Ownership, Business Analysis, and Product Management: 

  • Experience  in designing customer experiences within Customer Data Platforms or marketing technology (MarTech), or marketing automation.

  • Leadership in an Agile Environment: Strong leadership skills in running scrum teams, using Agile methodology, and utilizing Jira to track and manage progress effectively.

  • Experience with the Product Operating Model: Experience and/or understanding of the Product Operating Model is preferred, providing insight into strategic product development and execution.

  • Experience with Marketing and Sales Teams: Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment and drive results.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration Skills: Expertise in working with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Marketing Analytics,  Digital Marketing, and Data teams  to drive strategic data initiatives and align project goals across functions.

  • Proven Expertise in Marketing Automation: Knowledge of marketing automation tools, campaign migration, and optimizing platform readiness to ensure seamless customer engagement and marketing success.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
