The Position:

As a Product Design Manager at GameChanger you will lead the design of consumer-focused products that connect fans to their youth sports community. • Lead - In partnership with your product peers, champion the product direction with a point of view that delivers the best outcome for our customers and the larger business.

  • Collaborate - Proactively identify large, strategic UX opportunities that span both inside your areas and across the product. Work with other product design managers, staff, and product designers to drive cross-product initiatives through awareness and prioritization.

  • Your best work is done in a highly collaborative way

  • You have the ability to take large problems and break them down into bite-sized measurable chunks.

  • You have experience conducting user research, facilitating user interviews and user tests, digging through behavioral data, and synthesizing findings to identify trends and make recommendations.

  • You advocate for design by articulating and presenting the rationale behind your ideas.

  • You care about moving your team forward and look for ways to positively impact the team, not just the product.

Perks:

  • Work remotely throughout the US* or from our well-furnished, modern office in Manhattan, NY.

  • Unlimited vacation policy.

  • Paid volunteer opportunities.

  • Technology stipend - $4,000 every 2 years after your start to make sure you have the latest and greatest technology

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
