We are looking for a Principal Product Manager across several teams: Platform, Cloud/SaaS, and Integrations. The Principal Product Manager will bring experience in enterprise customer applications, cloud deployment architectures, and workflow patterns to help us build the next generation of streaming platforms. This role requires extensive customer interaction to understand their use cases, gather requirements, and partner with internal engineering teams to drive tactical and strategic initiatives, accelerating our customers' digital modernization and transformation efforts. This position offers the opportunity to be a thought leader, impact a new and fast-growing market, and shape the future of Striim.

Responsibilities: 

  • Define and drive the development of enterprise-grade technologies and features.
  • Translate customer business needs into product and technology requirements.
  • Influence and drive product roadmap and measurable business outcomes that align with Striim's mission.
  • Communicate key product differentiators, best practices, and value to field teams and our customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ship new, impactful products and features.
  • Ensure optimal user experiences for end users by working closely with UX/UI teams.
  • Make decisions from ambiguous data, and support your reasoning with data and analysis.
  • Drive cross-functional decisions via alignment with customers, sales, product marketing, customer success, business development, and technology partners.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product management experience at an enterprise software company
  • Strong understanding of one or more of the following: cloud-managed services, databases, SaaS, DevOps, security, management & governance, and overall enterprise software market
  • Understanding of distributed systems and/or streaming systems preferred
  • Experienced in product lifecycle management
  • Background in software development and program management preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile framework
  • Organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Creative, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset 
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relative work experience

Compensation:

$225,000 - $250,000 USD on an annualized basis
