What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join SentinelOne’s AI/ML product team to lead feature definition and delivery for AI-powered solutions such as AI detections and Purple AI, a first-of-its-kind AI security innovation. Purple AI empowers analysts to detect earlier, respond faster, and stay ahead of attacks. We are creating a platform that will automate security operations with full control and audit by human users. In this specific role, you will lead the roadmap and feature release process for innovative Purple AI functionality. This is a very visible and hands-on PM role where you will interact with engineering, sales, marketing, and peers in product management.

What will you do?

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our AI/ML Security products.
  • Establish priorities for what features we should build, when we should build them, and why.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver AI/ML-powered solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the AI and cybersecurity industry.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate with engineering, research, and data science teams to ensure successful implementation of AI/ML solutions.
  • Manage the release of AI-powered Security products, including capabilities, features, workflows, and pricing and packaging.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and launch new products.
  • Measure and analyze the success of AI-powered Security products and iterate to improve customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in AI/ML and cybersecurity and apply this knowledge to improve our products.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Your experience should set you up for success if you:
    • Have extensive expertise in cybersecurity product management, with a strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, including deep learning, natural language processing, LLMs, and vector databases.
    • Have extensive expertise in AI/ML technologies, with a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or AI/ML product development.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful cybersecurity products in the enterprise market.
  • An understanding of how to use AI technology, such as LLMs, vector databases, and embedding algorithms, to solve difficult problems.
  • Customer Focus - Ability to create a shared vision with customers and deliver on it.
  • Ownership -  You are accountable, persistent, and tenacious about getting things done and bring that out in others.
  • Passion - You have a passion for building the best product in the market.
  • Craftsmanship - You insist on the highest standards and lead by example.
  • This position requires up to 15% travel to customer and SentinelOne locations worldwide.

This U.S. role has a base pay range that will vary based on the location of the candidate.  For some
locations, a different pay range may apply.  If so, this range will be provided to you during the recruiting

Base Salary Range

$208,000$286,000 USD
