Job Overview

The Coupang Media Group (CMG) drives the advertising business within Coupang and plays a key role in Coupang’s profitability. It is one of the fastest growing groups in Coupang. We are innovating new ads products and features to sustain the hyper growth of the business for the coming years. We are looking for an experienced and passionate engineer leader that can drive the innovations and make huge impacts.

The position will report directly to the engineering VP of CMG. The person will have much freedom to explore various areas and discover the next big innovations.

The desired candidate can dive deep into the business and the systems, identify the opportunities, think systematically about the solutions, and drive their execution. The person can be a role model of delivering results with grit and demanding excellence. The person can work effectively with leaders of individual teams and align technical directions with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. 10+ years of industry experience on technology companies.

2. Have a broad and deep understanding on key technologies in ads or similar areas.

3. Be metrics driven and can identify big opportunities.

4. Solid track record of strong execution and delivering big business impacts.

5. Strong design and problem-solving skills.

6. Excellent communications and collaborations across teams and across functionalities.

7. Recruit and develop strong talents.
