As we continue our growth trajectory with even more ambitious plans over the next few years, the newly created role of Pricing Analyst will play an integral role in driving revenue growth as part of our value creation plan. With so much opportunity for growth, this is an exciting time to be a part of a relatively new function to help form and implement our pricing strategy.

Reporting directly to the Head of Pricing, the Pricing Analyst will have the chance to drive pricing initiatives end-to-end – including identifying new pricing opportunities, defining solutions to address these opportunities, and operationalizing these solutions to realize quantifiable benefit. As such, the role offers the chance to develop and hone a variety of skills including data analysis, communications, and project management. In addition, Citation Group offers a varied and evolving business in which to gain these skills given the span of services offered and sectors served through both organic and inorganic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pricing opportunity identification through deep dives of individual Business Units – including existing businesses, as well as any new acquisitions we make. As part of this, the Pricing Analyst will collaborate with management and sales teams of the relevant business, compile data and execute key pricing analyses (including internal and market research), evaluate strategic opportunities from pricing, and work with the Head of Pricing to prioritize these based on modelled potential benefit and implementation requirements

  • Driving the successful implementation of initiatives to realize benefit from pricing. This involves working with key stakeholders within Business units and the Group to plan and execute all aspects of operationalization (including technology enablers, sales enablement, KPI definition and ongoing tracking)

  • Conduct annual reviews of price books used across the business and recommend modifications to list price structures and levels

  • Support the implementation of best practice pricing approaches across the group, and facilitate knowledge sharing

  • Support in determining the appropriate packaging and prices for new products to be released. This may include conducting market research, as well as collaborating with product and marketing teams

  • Lead regular pricing reporting meetings, including collaborating with the Data team to design pricing dashboards, monitor key pricing indicators using these dashboards as well as ad-hoc pricing deep dives, and compile regular reports to communicate the key findings of these dashboards to senior Business Unit and Group stakeholders

About You

  • Bachelors Degree and/or two years’ experience in a relevant industry or growth journey, which may include Consulting, or Commercial/Financial/Analytical roles within Private Equity-backed, SaaS, hyper-growth, or complex group organizations

  • Strong analytical skills and highly numerate. Experience working with commercial data to run logically structured, high-quality analyses with appropriate support and oversight

  • Effective communication skills

  • A keen interest in pricing is essential (experience is helpful, but not essential)

  • Experience in working in teams, and a desire to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders of different seniority across Group and individual business units

  • Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to solving problems and driving progress

  • Good ability to manage a workload spread across a variety of projects and workstreams, and prioritize key actions

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
