We are looking for a Pre-Analytics Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing day to day management of the pre-analytics teams. 

Shift: Monday-Friday (12:30pm-9:00pm)

What You’ll Do

  • Operational management of the order processing workflow, including staff scheduling, prioritizing workload, quality and compliance oversight and managing needs of a growing lab.
  • Assign and prioritize work activities to ensure team and individual goals are met.
  • Maintain quality standards in compliance with regulatory and organization policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, annual reviews, recognition, coaching, and corrective action for the order processing team. 
  • Participate in monitoring audits of OPUS & Salesforce to prevent order delays
  • Communicate and collaborate directly with key stakeholders across Tempus to provide clarity on order status, delays, and expected completion dates, in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve all issues & create incident reports as needed. 
  • Analyze processes and implement improvements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.  

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least  3-5 years experience working in a clinical field required
  • Highly organized, systematic thinker
  • Superb attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated problem resolution and decision-making skills for operational and technical problems. 
  • Proven success in a laboratory or corporate supervisory role, collaborating with various levels of management.
  • Proven ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to new processes smoothly.
  • Proven ability to communicate well across teams and functions.

The expected salary range below is applicable if the role is performed from [Illinois] and may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits, depending on the position.

Illinois Pay Range

$55,000$70,000 USD
