The Poker Analyst plays a critical role in monitoring and analyzing game data to guide business strategies, overseeing gameplay during server updates, and contributing to the development of new poker features. This role will shape policies, features, and rake structures, support poker promotions, and collaborate with support and marketing teams to address player inquiries. Additionally, the Poker Analyst will work closely with the tournament manager to design and manage poker tournaments, including MTT (Multi-Table Tournament) weekly schedules, blind structures, and payouts, as well as handling game setups.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze game data to provide actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee gameplay during server maintenance or new feature releases, ensuring smooth pausing and resumption.
  • Contribute to shaping policies, rake structures, and feature requirements for all poker game types.
  • Collaborate with poker operations on data-related tasks to support ecosystem management and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with the tournament manager to design MTT weekly schedules, including buy-ins, guarantees, blind structures, and payouts.
  • Set up and manage various poker game types, including MTTs, Single Table Tournaments, and Cash Games.
  • Support poker promotions from idea generation to planning and execution.
  • Work with the support and marketing teams to resolve player inquiries effectively.
  • Assist the Tournament Manager, Director of Poker Operations, or other poker team members with various tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience with online poker, ideally as a serious player.
  • A passion for poker and deep understanding of the game.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and MS Office applications (particularly Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required
  • 1+ year’s experience in the industry
  • A higher education degree in a STEM field is preferred, although not strictly required  #LI-REMOTE

This role spans a wide breadth of experience at Rush Street Interactive, welcoming candidates with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and locations. The salary range reflects potential variations in experience, skills, and location. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and/or bonuses. For candidates outside the US (Canada, Europe, Latin America), we take a locally informed approach to compensation and will share specific ranges based on your country of residence.


Location Eligibility: Open to candidates across the US (except California, Washington, Maryland, and New York).

Pay Range

$60,000$80,000 USD
