Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Platform Consultant (Workday HCM Solution Architect) to lead and deliver complex, enterprise-wide human capital management solutions using Workday HCM. In this role, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Workday's capabilities and configurations to drive system integration, process optimization, and overall HR transformation for our organization. As a subject matter expert, you will work closely with business stakeholders, HR, IT teams, and external partners to design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions that enhance HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Human Capital Management (HCM) vision for internal clients, considering technical risk and priority for the business.

  • Reinforces company policies and procedures to others.

  • Identifies risk and best practice within the HCM area.

  • Facilitates design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices with an understanding of the client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.

  • Regularly engages and supports the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution.

  • Performs multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping the client, the Product Engineering team, and the Digital Product Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.

  • Displays hands-on expertise of the software, including loading client data, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.

  • Utilizes technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates.

  • Uses experience and wider context to refine Discovery and Framing sessions, pursuing simplicity to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Thought leader with the ability to influence technical decisions in a collaborative manner by questioning and considering implications.

  • Identifies and implements solutions to reuse code and capabilities to increase speed to market.

  • Accountable for integration and risks of medium to large, complex platforms, ensuring the business outcomes of the products that roll up to those platforms.

  • Defines the ‘how’ (solution design) from a platform level by balancing enterprise needs with immediate business outcomes.

  • Expertly manages the priorities, value, and time to support the platform to achieve measurable impact to business outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Workday HCM architecture, implementation, and configuration. (Preferred)

  • Proven experience managing large-scale HR system implementations and integrations, specifically within the Workday platform.

  • Expertise in multiple Workday modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, and Benefits.

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday HCM solutions, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

  • Architect and design Workday HCM modules such as Core HR, Recruiting, Talent Management, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Compensation.

4-year Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Experience

7 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Education & Experience (in lieu)

In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Workday certifications (Workday HCM, Workday Integrations) Preferred.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $143,200.00 - 227,050.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
