The Performance Specialist Lead will develop rigorous measurement and optimization strategies to maximize campaign performance with a particular focus on our new email and data products. You will act as a trusted advisor to the Sales and Account Management teams on complex campaigns, as well as work directly with select, high-profile accounts. Success in this role will require deep platform expertise, and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role is highly data-driven, customer-focused, and passionate about driving great results for clients. You will create industry-leading measurement and optimization strategies, drive revenue growth, and demonstrate thought-leadership inside and outside the company. Success in this role will require adaptability, creative problem-solving, and a growth mindset.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in the United States or Canada for this position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create best practices to maximize campaign performance across various campaign goals and marketing objectives, with a focus on leveraging email marketing tactics to improve results across all channels
  • Develop measurement frameworks and consult internal stakeholders on implementation
  • Provide campaign management and optimization consultation to internal stakeholders and for selected key strategic clients 
  • Partner with programmatic analysts to create reporting and analytics solutions enabling faster insights and better campaign performance
  • Troubleshoot advanced technical problems including performance issues, measurement discrepancies
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and product managers to solve complex technical problems; lead and advise on testing new product features and build best practices and compelling value statements for GTM motions 
  • Partner with and inform Product on platform enhancements and automation needs for better campaign performance 
  • Partner with Revenue Enablement team to develop training for AM and AE teams on best practices for campaign management and optimization 
  • Partner with Marketing to create internal and external case studies and demonstrate thought leadership in the domain of email marketing

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of consultative, client-facing work in ad-tech or mar-tech
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Talent for conveying complex topics in easily understood language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Energized by problem-solving under pressure
  • Proven track record leading working across organizational boundaries to get things done
  • Insatiable curiosity for how things work and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Email marketing experience is highly preferred
