Job Responsibilities:
Magna Corporate R&D Intern program allows students to be key players within the organization. We seek a self-motivated intern to support our research team in projects focused on Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and 3D scene understanding/reconstruction, to contribute to new technology development in localization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up a low-cost sensor system to collect images and generate good quality point clouds for various Magna Parts.
• Implement algorithms and techniques for 3D reconstruction of scenes.
• Evaluate the pipeline to conclude the performance of the low-cost camera system.

Qualifications:

• Programming experience with Python/ C++, ROS2.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Good hands-on experience with computer vision algorithms and libraries, such as Open CV,
• Development experience in a Linux environment (Ubuntu is preferred)
• Self-starter and able to work in a collaborative and result-oriented environment.
