About Alpen Labs:

Alpen Labs is a New York-based startup founded in 2022 by four MIT alumni. Our mission is to build universal rails for money by creating a scalable, private and programmable Bitcoin ecosystem. We're achieving this through cutting-edge innovations in zero-knowledge cryptography and offchain solutions, without compromising Bitcoin's fundamental principles.

This endeavor is not just about technological advancement but a step towards a more resilient, free, and prosperous global society. Our current team consists of engineers and researchers from companies like Blockstream Research, Palantir, and Nethermind. We invite passionate individuals to join us in navigating this complex, yet rewarding journey towards redefining financial sovereignty.

The Role:

As our People Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling Alpen Labs, driving recruitment efforts, managing hiring logistics, and executing core people operations. This is a varied role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys working across multiple workstreams at once.

Beyond recruitment, you’ll also work across HR operations— our team drives initiatives that ensure Alpen Labs continues to be a great place to work as we grow. If you’re someone who loves building from the ground up, creating processes, and wearing multiple hats, this role is for you.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a in-house role across recruiting and HR operations, ideally in a fast-growing company.
  • Strong ability to manage end-to-end hiring, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Detail-oriented with a data-driven approach to recruitment and people operations.
  • Ability to scale processes and optimise workflows for efficiency.
  • Experience with recruitment and hr system management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

What we offer:

We’re building a world-class team to shape the future of Bitcoin scalability. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to own and improve hiring processes, drive engagement, and build scalable HR systems. You’ll play a key role in attracting top talent and fostering a great company culture.

If you’re passionate about recruitment and people operations, we’d love to hear from you!
