How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice:
At Paula’s Choice, we believe that people are at the heart of everything we do. As a People & Culture Community Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in fostering an engaging and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring employees—both onsite and remote—feel connected, valued, and supported. You will help cultivate an exceptional employee experience by managing our beautiful Seattle office, supporting People & Culture initiatives, and driving community-building efforts. This role is perfect for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about employee engagement, workplace culture, and operational excellence.
As a People & Culture Community Operations Specialist, a typical day might include a mix of the following:
- Welcome and assist visitors, creating a warm and positive experience.
- Acting as a champion for company culture, organizing initiatives and events that enhance employee engagement and strengthen our hybrid and remote workforce connections.
- Managing the Seattle office environment to ensure a welcoming and productive workspace, including maintaining common areas, office supplies, maintenance and furniture needs, and visitor experience.
- Expense management and invoice processing.
- Supporting the People & Culture team with programs that enrich the employee experience (e.g., community building, wellness, inclusion & belonging, employee resource groups).
- Serving as a point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries related to office operations, HR processes, and company programs.
- Coordinating logistics for meetings, training sessions, and company-wide events—both virtual and in-person—including scheduling, materials preparation, and catering.
- Providing administrative support to the People & Culture team, including scheduling interviews, coordinating onboarding activities, and managing employee records.
- Assisting with employee recognition programs, milestone celebrations, and engagement surveys.
- Supporting internal communications by drafting announcements, maintaining People & Culture content on company platforms, and sharing key updates.
- Partnering with leadership to identify opportunities for enhancing company culture and improving team collaboration.
- Assisting with travel arrangements and special projects as needed.
- Assist with managing and organizing office supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
- Oversee office fire and safety procedures, including coordinating fire drills, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and liaising with building management on emergency protocols.
- Manage office mail, shipping, and deliveries, ensuring efficient handling and distribution of incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages.

- Location: Seattle, WA Headquarters
- Hours: Full-Time; Typical business hours with some flexibility required
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle long periods of screen time & sitting
- Travel Requirements: Possible local travel
What you’ll bring to the table:

- A high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in People & Culture, office operations is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Handle and resolve issues as they come up by finding practical solutions and making sure things run smoothly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with HR and collaboration tools.
- The ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
- Adaptability and a commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment.
Approximate Compensation Range Based on Experience and Location:
29.00 - 34.00/ Hourly USD

Paula’s Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
