·       Preparation/review of federal and state tax compliance for private equity, venture capital, fund of fund entities, and closely held companies.

·       Prepare/review partnership income tax returns and K-1’s using tax return software. 

·       Support client tax department through various roles, such as being an outsourced tax manager or tax analyst and potentially work on site for the project duration.

·       Assist clients with project management and implementation of new accounting and tax technology and process improvements.

·       Assist clients with tax restructuring.

·       Assist with planning and other special projects.

·       Work directly with clients on-site as part of an overall tax team.

·       Establish relationships with internal tax leaders.

·       Have experience and a continued interest in developing/mentoring junior team members.

 

Skills/Competencies 

 

·       Detail oriented; strong research and analytical skills. 

·       Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work under deadlines.

·       Excellent communication skills (oral/written), interpersonal skills, and project management skills.

·       Demonstrated ability to be accountable for independently completing assignments. 

·       Experienced with Microsoft Excel and corporate tax return preparation software, including GoSystems/OneSource.

·       Capable of collaborating and communicating with people of different technical backgrounds and roles.

·       Must be self-confident, a self-starter and willing to work in a flexible and dynamic work environment.

 

Education/Experience Requirements:  

 

·       Minimum of 5+ years overall experience in corporate and/or Big-4 public accounting.

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field; Master’s in Taxation/ CPA preferred.
