Summary

As a Partner Practice Director at Workiva, you will manage a dedicated portfolio of partners and oversee all their post-sales activities. This role involves driving capability development, fostering skills excellence, and ensuring scalability, while maintaining high standards for partner-delivered Workiva solutions.

You will collaborate closely with our Sales teams to understand the pipeline of Partner Sales. Additionally, you will work with Alliance Leaders and Partners to establish 'Partner Centers of Excellence' and expand Partner delivery capabilities for Workiva solutions in the LATAM region.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Address complex, ambiguous problems that may impact strategy or future success.

  • Drive capability, scale, and quality of partner resources to meet customer pipeline demands.

  • Develop and execute strategies for partners, guiding them through solution maturity phases to self-sufficient delivery for their own sourced deals.

  • Innovate to develop solutions that address future concepts, products, or technologies.

  • Provide operational leaders with technical expertise to support the success of functional objectives.

  • Collaborate with directors and senior directors across multiple functions.

  • Exercise discretion in determining objectives and approaches that influence Workiva’s long-term direction.

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working with partners in a SaaS company.

  • Background in financial and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience working within a Global Systems Integrator or managing them.

  • Undergraduate degree or a minimum of 8 years of related experience.

  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience enabling partners and driving enablement plans to establish centers of excellence, leading partners to self-sufficiency across solution portfolios.
    Demonstrated ability in partner account management, building relationships at all levels to achieve shared goals and align on capability development.

  • Expertise in escalation resolution, working with partner delivery teams to resolve implementation issues, identifying root causes, and driving continuous improvement.

  • Experience leading a matrixed team in a “partner pod” to ensure quality, success, and scalability within a partner portfolio.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills to engage effectively with executives and stakeholders.

  • Experience collaborating with sales teams to transition customer/partner opportunities into practice and recommending engagement types based on partner maturity or scale.

  • Strategic thinking to integrate cross-functional capabilities and pursue innovative solutions for short- and long-term objectives.

  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in the profession with a growing reputation for leadership in strategic innovation.

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

  • 20% travel for customer and internal meetings

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $138,000.00 - $222,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
