About Alpen Labs

Alpen Labs is a New York-based startup founded in 2022 by four MIT alumni. Our mission is to build universal rails for money by creating a scalable, private and programmable Bitcoin ecosystem. We're achieving this through cutting-edge innovations in zero-knowledge cryptography and offchain solutions, without compromising Bitcoin's fundamental principles.

This endeavor is not just about technological advancement but a step towards a more resilient, free, and prosperous global society. Our current team consists of engineers and researchers from companies like Blockstream Research, Palantir, and Nethermind. We invite passionate individuals to join us in navigating this complex, yet rewarding journey towards redefining financial sovereignty.

About the Role

This is a cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of partnerships, operations, and ecosystem enablement. You will play a key role in onboarding and supporting partners, streamlining internal coordination, and driving operational excellence as we expand our external relationships.

You’ll work closely with our engineering, product, and BD teams to ensure partners are supported throughout their journey—from initial engagement and integration to ongoing collaboration. Your goal is to help reduce friction for partners, support internal execution, and scale our ability to collaborate externally.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the operating model for the Global Partnerships function to enable the org including: Annual planning, OKR process, partner health, partner segmentation, partner plans, etc.
  • Coordinate and support onboarding of strategic partners (wallets, exchanges, operators, and developers)
  • Work closely with internal teams to align technical requirements, timelines, and communication with partners
  • Build and manage partner-facing documentation, integration checklists, and onboarding resources
  • Track the status of integrations and collaborations, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
  • Identify friction points in our partner processes and help design scalable solutions
  • Support internal BD and ecosystem strategy through research, documentation, and follow-up
  • Represent Alpen Labs in ecosystem conversations and calls with external partners when needed

What we look for

  • Have 3–5+ years of experience in business operations, partner success, BD, or similar cross-functional roles
  • Have worked closely with engineering or product teams, especially in technical or web3 environments
  • Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and are comfortable wearing multiple hats
  • Are a strong communicator and organised operator who can keep multiple threads moving at once
  • Have an understanding of the crypto/web3 ecosystem, and are eager to deepen your knowledge

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience supporting integration partners or developers in a protocol or platform company
  • Experience working in early-stage startups or remote-first teams
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Airtable, Slack, and lightweight project tracking systems

What we offer

What we extend to our new hires is an invitation to actively contribute to the evolution of cutting-edge technologies within the blockchain space. This presents a unique opportunity to innovate and devise creative solutions for complex engineering challenges. To support your journey, we commit to providing all the resources necessary for your learning, growth, and productivity.

Moreover, our compensation package is designed to mirror the passion, dedication, and hard work you invest in your role. We recognize and appreciate your contributions by aligning your exceptional commitment with generous compensation.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
