Job Summary:


Our SmartBug Paid Media team is seeking a Supervisor,  Paid Media! The Paid Media Supervisor will lead a team of Account Managers responsible for the successful execution and optimization of paid media campaigns across various channels (e.g., Google Ads, Programmatic, Social Media, etc.). This role is responsible for team leadership and requires a strong understanding of paid media best practices, client relationship management, strategic campaign planning, and driving performance improvements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers, Performance Managers, and Performance Associates.
  • Provide training, support, and performance feedback to enhance team skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and oversee paid media strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (ROI, CTR, CPA), and make real-time adjustments to drive continuous improvement. QA and error prevention.
  • Ensure optimal budget management and campaign profitability.

  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance.
  • Support Account Managers in managing client expectations and driving campaign success.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

  • Collaboration & Innovation
  • Work cross-functionally with Client Services, Sales, and Creative teams to ensure integrated marketing success.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Oversee performance reporting, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to present campaign results and strategic recommendations.
  • Align paid media efforts with SEO strategies for maximum impact.

  • Process Improvement & Business Growth
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and campaign effectiveness.
  • Support business development efforts through new service offerings and strategic proposals.

What You'll Need ( Requirements)

  • 4-6 years of proven experience in paid media management.
  • Expertise in major advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) 
  •  Strong understanding of campaign structures, bidding strategies, targeting options, and performance measurement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio, etc.) and bid management platforms.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising platforms (e.g., DV360, StackAdapt) is a plus.  
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring junior team members (Account Managers, Performance Associates).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to campaign optimization.
  • Strong client communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and drive business growth.

Required Certifications:

  • Google Ads and/or 360
  • LinkedIn Foundations
