As the National Sales Manager, you will develop and execute a national growth strategy consistent with sales plan targets for the gas business and Watts family of brands within the HVAC & Wholesale channel. Reporting to the General Manager of the Gas Business, you will negotiate pricing agreements, contracts, and incentive programs in the channel. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Customer/Technical Service, Logistics, Training, and Shared Services to drive sales growth, product training, brand loyalty, and customer experience improvements.

You Will:

  • Develop and execute a Wholesale-focused sales strategy.

  • Achieve the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) sales goals and profit margins.

  • Build and manage relationships between Watts and new/existing corporate Wholesale Distributors.

  • Identify and cultivate key account opportunities with existing and prospective customers.

  • Drive the end-to-end sales process to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Provide periodic reporting on market activity, opportunities, risks, and sales forecasting.

  • Implement and manage customer agreements, contracts, and incentive programs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Operations) to create effective sales enablement programs.

  • Maintain professional industry knowledge, stay informed of market trends, and act as a voice of the customer.

  • Champion a customer-centric mindset, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement within the wholesale community.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in sales within the appliance accessory and gas conveyance industry.

  • Strong understanding of the Plumbing Wholesale Channel and the Contractor role.

  • Proven ability to build relationships with Sales Management, Independent Rep Agents, Wholesale Distributors, and key decision-makers across the U.S., Canada, and internationally.

  • Demonstrated business development skills and professional demeanor.

  • Relevant product and industry knowledge, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and passionate about sales and driving growth.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
