Description

FusionTek is a Managed Service Provider with offices in Kirkland, WA, Washington, DC, and Tampa, FL. We’re a tight-knit team of friendly, intelligent people focused on IT infrastructure management for small to mid-sized businesses since 2007.

We’re also rapidly growing and are looking for top tier candidates that share our four core values:

  • We are team players, collectively working towards a common goal.
  • We work each day with a growth mindset focused on the success of our coworkers, clients, and the company.
  • We do the right thing with an honest and transparent approach that always puts our clients first.
  • We take ownership of our work, always seeing it through to completion.

If this sounds like somewhere you’d like to work, read on, because we’re looking for a problem-solver with a client focused mindset who enjoys working through technical challenges to join our team as a Systems Analyst.

As a Systems Analyst, you should have a superb knowledge of desktop operating systems, a working knowledge of server operating systems and networking, and a drive to deliver the best possible experience to our clients. You’ll be troubleshooting Windows 10, Windows 11, MacOS, Windows Server 2019, 2022, and diving into networking issues regularly. Working in Office 365, Active Directory, and AzureAD are also routine parts of your day. Throughout the day you’ll be translating technology to end users that aren’t always technical, so communication skills are paramount in this role.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to help end users work through their technology challenges while learning new things in the process, this might be the perfect position for you.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll primarily be focused on escalated tickets from our level 1 team, including break/fix issues, application installation and configuration, and user level settings. You’ll also be involved in the server administration, networking, and security side of things, where you’ll be tasked with issues like building out new Hyper-V hosts, troubleshooting and deploying SonicWall firewalls, and troubleshooting and deploying Datto networking switches and access points – among many other new technologies we’re rolling out on a regular basis.
  • You’ll sometimes be dispatched onsite for networking and server deployments, and occasionally to provide guidance and mentorship to a level 1 technician who is just getting started.
  • You’ll work through our ticketing system to document, track, and escalate tickets, and you’ll also work in our documentation platform to keep everything up to date along the way.
  • You’ll be working with a team of intelligent people to deliver world class service to our clients, both remotely and onsite.
Requirements
  • Superb knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MacOS
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022

  • Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS is a plus
  • Knowledge of Datto BCDR and/or SaaS Backup is a plus
  • Knowledge of SonicWall firewalls is a plus
  • Knowledge of Datto networking, or networking in general, is a plus
  • Time management skills are crucial to your success in this role
  • Superb verbal and written communications skills are a must
  • A+ and/or Network+ certifications are required, MD-100 and MD-101 are preferred
    • If you don’t have the certifications yet, that’s OK as long as you agree to obtain them after employment
  • Experience working in a ticketing system is preferred, with Autotask experience a huge plus
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable transportation
