Key Responsibilities:
As a Mid or Senior Quality Assurance Tester you will:

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering Teams:
    • Test new features and enhancements to existing products.
    • Identify system requirements with developers and product managers.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders and internal product teams to ensure product quality.
  • Investigate and Resolve Issues:
    • Investigate, validate, and escalate root causes of issues using various tools and dashboards.
    • Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
    • Perform thorough regression testing when issues are resolved.
  • Develop and Execute Testing Strategies:
    • Execute creative, holistic, and exploratory testing to identify potential issues before they impact customers.
    • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
    • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities.
    • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
    • Develop and apply testing processes for both new and existing products to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Contribute to Process Improvements:
    • Contribute to existing documentation.
    • Provide input on process improvements.
  • Availability:
    • Be available for occasional on-call shifts outside of core hours.


Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience and Knowledge:
    • 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
    • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Solid understanding of Agile practices and terminologies in software testing.
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum.
    • Hands-on experience with grey-box testing.
    • Familiarity with automated testing tools.
    • Proficiency using browser developer tools.
    • Proven ability to solve problems quickly and sustainably.
  • Bonus Points if You Are Familiar With:
    • HTML, Java, or TypeScript.
    • MySQL, MariaDB, or other relational databases.
    • Experience with performance and/or security testing.
    • Debugging software (e.g., Charles).
    • Familiarity with Git and version control software like GitHub or Bitbucket.
    • Familiarity with Monitoring tools such as Grafana and Tableau.

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $106,823 - $170,838 nationwide. This position will also include a profit sharing that is dependent on a variety of factors.
