Job Summary

Job Description
As a Marketing Analyst working with the Nidec – Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Leadership team, you have the opportunity to help drive business growth through analysis supporting key initiatives. Reporting to the Director of OEM Marketing - HVACR, your role includes collaborative work to support and track key strategic projects.

Job Description

Duties:

  • Provides support to the Strategic Planning / Business Development process.
  • Support the development of HVACR’s strategic planning process.
  • Participates in the mid-term planning and other key business processes for the Business Unit.
  • Assists with market research and analysis supporting the marketing team’s evaluation of potential markets, products and other strategic growth opportunities.
  • Performs competitive and market analysis by region/geographic area connecting key strategic projects with implications and possible outcomes for the Business Unit.
  • Defines and tracks key strategic performance metrics.
  • Revenue, profit and unit forecasts
  • Creation and distribution of regular sales and other key reports
  • Complete special projects as assigned in connection with the Business Unit goals and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s of Arts or Science Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance or related. MBA preferred.
  • Must possess business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Highly motivated with a passion to learn and take on new responsibilities and initiatives.
  • Excellent business judgment and the ability to collaborate with others to achieve solutions and results.
  • Ability to effectively navigate Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) software.
