Description

Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Market Engagement & Auditing Lead in the greater Central Ohio area to join our growing team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Energy Market Engagement & Auditing Lead with a strong background in the support of Community-Based Organizations in Ohio to join our dynamic team. As an Energy Market Engagement & Auditing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving engagement initiatives, fostering partnerships with community action agencies, and ensuring the successful implementation of a home energy assessment program for income eligible customers in Ohio.

The ideal candidate possesses the right mix of organization, verbal and written communication skills, industry knowledge and interpersonal skills to succeed in this position. In this role, you will collaborate with an existing program delivery team identifying and implementing outreach strategies to engage community-based organizations and income-eligible customers on program benefits, engage trade allies and program partners, drive participation, interface with utility clients and maximize energy savings to achieve program goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and support Program Manager on establishing and executing outreach initiatives
  • Develop, manage and strengthen relationships with program partners (e.g., community action agencies, trade allies, community-based organizations)
  • Prepare and conduct program trainings to program partners to ensure program compliance
  • Represent the programs at community-based events and conferences
  • Monitor program performance and identify trends in the residential sector
  • Proactively engage with underrepresented customer segments to ensure equitable program access and benefits
  • Provide program partners with application and project support
  • Deliver best-in-class customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Central Ohio area within 30 days of acceptance.
  • Must obtain a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for local travel up to 25-75% of the time.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a quality control and quality assurance role, or consulting, energy efficiency or utility experience highly desired   
  • Familiarity with the community-based organizations in Ohio
  • Experience in implementing residential energy efficiency programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders (customers, partners, utilities)
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including trade allies and community partners
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact in disadvantaged communities and on the environment.
