Job Overview
The ServiceNow Asset & Configuration Management organization at T-Mobile has embarked on a strategic initiative to implement advanced AIOps capabilities within our IT Operations Management (ITOM) suite. This initiative encompasses enterprise-wide asset and configuration discovery, improved federation integrations, and automation of critical operational tasks and workflows. We seek a proactive and strategic Manager of Software Development to lead these transformative efforts, coordinate cross-functional teamwork, and ensure the successful delivery and continuous development of ITOM, CMDB and AIOps capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads the strategic direction, planning, and implementation of ServiceNow. AIOps tools and technologies and continuously refines AIOps strategy and capabilities to meet evolving enterprise needs.
  • Manages automated discovery processes for enterprise-wide T-Mobile infrastructure, maintaining high availability and accuracy.
  • Leads all aspects of integration and operational health of 30+ federation sources and millions of configuration items.
  • Establishes strategic roadmaps and effective stakeholder engagement, clearly communicating vision, progress, and risks to senior leadership, while actively aligning ITOM and AIOps capabilities with evolving business needs.
  • Champions automation and workflow enhancements across IT operations, collaborating with business partners to streamline processes, automate manual tasks, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Leads and develop high-performing teams, fostering mentorship, professional growth, adherence to development standards, and establishing robust KPIs and metrics for continuous improvement. Same as below.
  • Manages technical relationships with assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases.
  • Interviews and hires qualified team members, striving to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting product or project teams with contract staff when required.

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or in a computer programming related field or equivalent work experience. (Required)

4-7 years experience in an Analytics and Business Intelligence development environment. (Required)

Preferred 4+ years experience software and development environment.
Experience in leading or supervising a team of 15 developers or more. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform, specifically ITOM and CMDB suites and Discovery module (Strongly Preferred).
  • Experience with emerging AIOps technologies (Event Management) and strategic implementation (Preferred).
  • Solid understanding in Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Software Development (Preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise discovery solutions, federation integrations, and workflow automation (Preferred).
  • Superb communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills (Preferred).
  • Proven experience in enterprise discovery solutions, federation integrations, and workflow automation (Preferred).

    Base Pay Range: $136,600 - $246,300

    Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
