eHealth is hiring a Manager, Sales Support – Outbound who will play a key role in driving the company’s pipeline vision and strategy through outbound telephonic initiatives. This position focuses on shaping and executing pipeline strategy while ensuring efficient screening and preparation of leads for their appointments with Licensed Benefit Advisors. As the leader of the Sales Support Representatives team, you will oversee the performance of the team in connecting with beneficiaries and ensuring a seamless handoff to advisors, all while aligning with and supporting broader pipeline initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, a strategic mindset in pipeline management, and a strong ability to influence and drive sales performance metrics, contributing directly to the success of the sales process.
What you’ll do:

Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a team of Sales Support Representatives, providing coaching and support to meet KPIs and enhance performance.

Pipeline Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to shape and execute the company’s sales pipeline strategy.

Screening & Qualification Oversight: Supervise the team’s screening efforts, ensuring quality standards, efficiency, and identification of high-potential prospects. Support inbound efforts as needed.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor team and company performance metrics, using data to drive improvements and ensure objectives are met.

Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline outbound calls and pipeline management.

Systems Management: Partner with S&OP and Communications Operations teams to manage and implement updates to phone systems, including the outbound dialer.

Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure outbound call activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards, while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism.

Team Engagement & Motivation: Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes performance excellence, continuous learning, goal achievement, and delivering a great customer experience.

Who you are:

You have 4+ years of management experience within a managed care organization, health insurance carrier, third-party administrator or related industry.

You have proven experience in managing teams, driving performance, and executing sales pipeline strategies.

You have strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making and performance improvements.

You have excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

You can thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

You are proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in the health insurance industry with a strong understanding of Medicare products and services.

Extensive experience and expertise in sales pipelines, lead qualification, and outbound calling strategies.

Experience with CRM systems and sales performance tracking tools is beneficial.

Current Life/Health Insurance license preferred.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes a monthly commission-based incentive plan, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
