About the Role: 

The Manager, Sales Development is expected to effectively manage the day-to-day activities and process adherence of the Sales Development team. You will utilize the existing sales stack as well as assist in vetting new stack technologies as needed to ensure maximum efficiency across our inbound and outbound teams with the goal of consistently providing sub-2-minute response times. You will continue the work already established within the org and look for new ways of further improving the scripting, training, new hire onboarding, and any other areas as needed. Coaching, mentoring, and assisting your team in order to achieves lead response time, opportunity quality scoring, and pipeline contribution goals for the department. Managing to KPIs is your strong suit and leading a transparent team should be your primary focus.

Role will be located in Tampa, FL

In this role you will: 

  • Quickly learn current sales development processes
  • Drive pipeline contribution at or above quota
  • Recruit, interview, and hire excellent SDR’s at scale
  • Onboard and train SDR’s to develop sales skills and deep product knowledge
  • Developing and continuously improving lead qualification using established criteria such as ANUM – Authority, Need, Urgency, Money
  • Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable and predictable process for developing and growing the SDR Inbound practice while improving efficiency and keeping the team energized and motivated.
  • Work with the team to build career plans for each high-performing Inbound SDR’s
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales Operations to ensure alignment on your team’s strategy and execution
  • Collect data and metrics for Weekly Numbers reporting, then deliver to the VP of Sales
  • Conduct weekly One-on-One’s with each member of your team to review KPI’s, Quotas and other performance indicators

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • At least two years managing a Sales Development Team, preferably from the Restaurant or Hospitality industries
  • Experience with building phone/email campaigns
  • Experience with a power dialer and/or predictive dialer
  • Experience managing from a sales stack
  • Creative and persistent in outreach methods to obtain meetings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with a CRM (Salesforce Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of sales process in both short and long sales cycles
  • Ability to communicate concepts to non-technical end users
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ever changing environment
