As a member of the Oregon and Washington Sales team, our Manager of New Sales leads the sales force to achieve new sales goals, driving company profitability. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with groups and brokers, as well as leading the team to retain and grow enrollment in assigned groups – all in service of creating a person-focused health care experience.

What You Bring to Cambia: 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Manager of New Sales would have an undergraduate degree in marketing, business or a related field plus five years of experience with group or individual health sales and three years of experience in a supervisory role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.​ 

  • Must be currently licensed, or must become licensed within 60 days of hire, to sell insurance (health, life, and/or disability) in the state or states where business is conducted.

  • Analyzes costs and benefits of solutions to support business strategies and objectives.

  • Develops and implements effective sales and marketing strategies, including customer segmentation and sales process design.

  • Creates and delivers clear presentations and workshops for producers and groups.

  • Brings creative problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.

  • Effectively communicates and collaborates with various individuals and groups to drive business growth.

  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent listening and reasoning abilities.

  • Thrives in a team environment, with a strong ability to work collaboratively with others.

What You Will Do at Cambia:  

  • Directs sales staff according to departmental priorities, ensuring effective resource allocation.

  • Leads and supports the sales team to grow enrollment.

  • Demonstrates market knowledge and adheres to pricing and sales budgets.

  • Utilizes Cambia systems and basic desktop application software to drive sales efforts.

  • Oversees data collection and analysis to inform market share growth and competitive strategies.

The expected hiring range for a Manager of New Sales is $110,500 - $149,500 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. This role has a robust incentive plan based on individual and organizational goal achievement. ​ The current full salary range for this role is $104,000 - $169,000. #LI-hybrid
