The Salesforce Impact Team is looking for a Salesforce Administrator who will be the primary owner of our internal Salesforce implementation. This role is part technical project manager and part administrator. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day support and administration of our Salesforce implementation (primarily Sales Cloud and Nonprofit Cloud for Grantmaking) to support a variety of stakeholders, including grantees, grantmakers, and executives. This role will also have the opportunity to develop and deploy Agentforce and AI technology to further the Impact Team’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as frontline service owner for Salesforce platform
  • Ensure optimal performance of the Salesforce platform, including Nonprofit Cloud for Grantmaking
  • Manage transition of Salesforce platform from IT managed to business unit managed
  • Build rhythm of the business and documentation around administration and successful management of Salesforce platform
  • Manage deployment calendar and release schedule in conjunction with Impact Technology team
  • Manage Agentforce deployments and integrations in Salesforce, Slack, and other systems
  • Partner closely with Salesforce Philanthropy team to prioritize work items and business changes to the Salesforce Platform
  • Manage Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, public groups, workflow rules, process builders, and flows
  • Manage releases and prepare for upgrades
  • Address ad-hoc inbound Salesforce questions from business users
  • Build integrations using out of the box tools to connect Salesforce to tools like Slack
  • Ensure and validate data is updated or inserted to the correct records with tools like Data Loader
  • Manage projects related to Salesforce and Salesforce development with consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Manage Salesforce integrations such as DocuSign
  • Co-create and manage Salesforce product roadmap in conjunction with leadership
  • Mentorship and training of other team members

Required Skills:

  • 5 years experience administering a Salesforce organization, with a focus on internal systems / business applications
  • Working knowledge of Apex, VisualForce, LWC, and Experience Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform customization and automation
  • Proficiency in managing access and permissions for both internal and external users
  • Interest in developing proficiencies with emergent technology and applying them to the Salesforce platform
  • Proven ability to translate complex and nuanced technical details into content for a wide range of audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while managing stakeholder expectations within a matrixed organization
  • Customer service oriented; able to meet others where they are

Preferred Requirements:

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification
  • Salesforce App Builder certification
  • Experience working with OmniScript
  • Experience working in the philanthropy or sustainability sector

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $174,900.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $190,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
