Job Overview
The Manager of Technical Product Management at T-Mobile is instrumental in shaping the vision and strategy of new technological products. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to define product features, requirements, and business rationale, ensuring alignment with market demands and user needs. Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads cross-functional teams to define product features, requirements, and business rationale

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree Business Administration, Computer Science, or Product Management ()
  • 7-10 years Relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a technical environment (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Advanced level understanding and analysis of market trends and customer feedback to shape product strategy (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Product Management Expertise in defining and overseeing the development of product features and requirements to meet market demands. (Required)
  • Cross Functional Relationships Ability to lead and collaborate with teams across different departments such as engineering, marketing, and sales. (Required)
  • Strategic Thinking Capability to formulate and execute strategies that align with the company's technological and business goals. (Required)
  • Analytics Proficiency in analyzing market trends and user feedback to guide product innovation. (Required)
  • Leadership Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire cross-functional teams towards achieving product objectives. (Required)
  • Communication Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation to stakeholders. (Required)
  • Problem Solving Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues during the product development lifecycle. (Required)
  • Customer Focus: Strong orientation towards understanding and prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction. (Preferred)
  • Technology Management Knowledge of managing the integration and implementation of technology solutions. (Preferred)
  • Change Management Skills in managing and leading change within the organization, particularly related to new product introductions. (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Certified Product Manager (CPM): Certification by the Association of International Product Marketing and Management (AIPMM) that validates knowledge in product management and ability to lead product teams. (Preferred)
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO): Certification that demonstrates a deep understanding of Scrum practices and the role of a Product Owner in the Scrum framework. (Preferred)
  • Certified Technology Manager (CTM): Certification that focuses on the management of technology-driven products and teams, emphasizing leadership in technological environments. (Preferred)

• At least 18 years of age

Base Pay Range: $133,900 - $241,500

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
