We are seeking a creative and results-driven Manager of Demand Generation & Digital Marketing to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion for Barista Underground (BU). This role is responsible for managing our eCommerce demand generation agency and executing digital marketing campaigns, optimizing paid media performance and developing compelling content to enhance customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate is data-driven, has a strong digital marketing background, and possesses a creative mindset with experience in design or content creation.

Job Description:

The Manager of Demand Generation & Digital Marketing will be responsible for the execution of paid media, content creation, and digital campaigns to drive eCommerce growth. This role will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies to implement digital marketing initiatives, optimize ad performance, and manage the Vendor Advertising Program (VAP). A key focus will be on campaign performance metrics such as ROAS, CAC, click-through rates, and email engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital ad campaigns for BU across paid social, search, and display channels with our external digital ads agency.
  • Create and design compelling marketing content in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
  • Build and manage a seasonal marketing calendar, aligning campaign execution with key sales periods and product launches.
  • Optimize campaign performance by analyzing ROAS, CAC, click-through rates, and email open rates, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, improving engagement and conversion through segmentation and A/B testing.
  • Collaborate with the eCommerce manager to ensure digital marketing efforts align with overall site experience and customer journey.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or paid media.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute paid digital campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience in managing creative design and copy output, creative copy development, and brand management is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience optimizing ROAS, CAC, and campaign engagement metrics.
  • Experience managing agencies and working with third-party marketing partners.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Klaviyo, and HubSpot.
  • Ability to create marketing content that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in eCommerce marketing and customer lifecycle optimization.
  • Familiarity with SEO and organic content strategy.
  • Proficiency in creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva for content development.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and A/B testing for campaign optimization.

This is an L3 role. Compensation is $80,000 - $105,000 DOE
