  • Evaluate and document the business’ capabilities with regard to supporting deals across multiple vectors, including but not limited to cybersecurity, compliance, technology, and product capabilities.
  • Validate and evaluate deal-specific considerations across all stages of the deal cycle, and support the progression of prioritized deals within the parameters of our commercial strategy.
  • Project manage and complete substantive supporting documents for deals as required, including but not limited to RFPs, security questionnaires, and supplier registrations, with leverage from Sales Support.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 4+ years of experience facilitating deal flow or applying commercial strategy in a Deal Desk capacity.
  • 3+ years of strong project management experience, engaging a wide variety of functional stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • 1+ year of people management experience or equivalent track record preferred.
  • Track record of influencing commercial strategy for B2B SaaS organizations at any level preferred.
  • Previous B2B sales or comparable commercial experience strongly preferred.

Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:

  • Strong process and program management skills.
  • Ability to bring clarity to ambiguity.
  • Ability to push through to results and deliver solutions.
  • Ability to manage up and drive clarity on prioritization through tradeoff decisions.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
