The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Manager of Cloud Infrastructure to join our innovative team at Fuel iX. The ideal candidate will lead our cloud infrastructure initiatives, focusing on GCP environments, and guide a team of cloud infrastructure engineers. You will also support integrations with other hyperscales & LLM providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Mistral and more.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of cloud infrastructure engineers
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using GCP and AWS
  • Develop and enforce best practices for cloud security, scalability, and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of cloud infrastructure with business goals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends
  • Manage cloud budgets and optimize resource allocation
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Deep expertise in both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • One or more relevant certifications from Google or AWS (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring technical teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
