SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a dynamic Claims Quality Manager to lead a team of detail-oriented, data-driven quality specialists. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of our claims handling processes, guiding your team in executing audits of varying scales and delivering actionable insights. As the leader of this team, you will work cross-functionally to drive process improvements and enhance the overall quality and efficiency of claims outcomes. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep knowledge of property claims and a passion for leveraging data-driven approaches to identify areas of improvement and implement meaningful solutions. This role is critical to shaping the future of our quality assurance initiatives as we continue to scale and innovate.

What you’d be doing:

  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight of the Claims Quality team, prioritizing high-impact initiatives and automated solutions to optimize claims handling, enhance accuracy, and adherence to regulatory compliance
  • Responsible for performance management, administration, training, development, and coaching of multiple specialists, ensuring alignment with broader company goals
  • Participate with senior management in recruitment and staffing decisions to ensure the Claims Quality team is adequately resourced
  • Analyze the teams' deliverables to ensure findings are consistent, accurate and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Aggregate findings, recommend data-driven improvement initiatives, and oversee their implementation to capture measurable improvements in accuracy
  • Establish a data-driven approach to team performance through metrics and quality control, coupled with individual coaching, to ensure continuous improvement and maximize business value
  • Foster collaboration and transparency by actively socializing quality results with peers, leadership, and vendors.
  • Champion a collaborative environment that fosters a growth mindset across teams, driving improvement and innovation through cross-functional partnerships.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of audit data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for training, or refinements to guidelines or processes.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7-10 years of property claims experience
  • 5-7 years claims quality assurance experience
  • 1+ years of experience leading a rapid scaling high-performing team
  • Experience with CoreLogic’s suite of estimating software solutions
  • Strong attention to detail, highly self-driven and results oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, experience managing multiple priorities and working closely with stakeholders on timely execution of deliverables
  • Ability to perform work with limited supervision, while owning the ability to effectively prioritize and manage daily workflow and project assignments to meet specified deadline
  • Experience with data interpretation, data analysis, OKR/metric generation, and performance measurements
  • Understanding of Agile Leadership methodologies
  • A passion for bringing out the best in their team and commitment to their development

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Experience working within data-driven organizations
  • 3+ years of experience leading a rapid scaling high-performing team
  • Advanced knowledge of Inpoint ClaimsMonitor
  • Claims training experience or oversight preferred
  • Both desk and field property claims experience
  • Experience with litigation, liability, commercial and large loss claims handling
  • Adjuster licensed in home state or holds a non-resident license if license not required; meets requirements for licensing in additional states as needed
  • Professional designation(s) (CPCU, SCLA, etc)
