The Manger of Technical Business Analyst leads a team of talented and skilled technical business analysts to understand, analyze, and document business processes, data flows, system capabilities, and user requirements. You will be responsible for defining and implementing best practices for your team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and collaborating with other leaders and stakeholders. You will also be proficient in agile methodologies, have familiarity with Azure Dev Ops / Azure Boards (ADO), and have a strong background in the technical business analysis function.
This position is primarily remote, with some required in-person and onsite meetings quarterly.

  • Manage, mentor, and coach a team of technical business analysts, providing feedback, guidance, and career development opportunities.
  • Ensure team members are proficient in agile methodologies.
  • Define and implement best practices, standards, and processes for the technical business analysis function, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with people leaders, project managers, developers, testers, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and integration of the technical business analysis activities.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Use ADO to manage the technical business analysis artifacts, such as user stories, acceptance criteria, diagrams, and test cases.
  • Ensure user acceptance testing is completed to warrant that solutions meet the technical business expectations and standards.
  • Identify and resolve issues, risks, and dependencies related to the technical business analysis function, escalating as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the technical business analysis domain, and share knowledge and insights with the team and the organization.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a technical business analyst, working on complex and large-scale projects.
  • At least 2 years of leading and managing a team engaged in technical projects.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the SDLC.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, such as Scrum.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in ADO, or a similar tool, for managing the technical business analysis artifacts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate technical business needs into solutions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, with the ability to deliver high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines.
  • Certification in technical business analysis, such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA, is a plus.


The base salary for this position in the greater Seattle area is $99,000-$133,000 and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market-related factors. Performance-based incentive bonus(es) is available.
