THE JOB

We are seeking a Staff Accountant I for the Premium Seat Sales Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. Position is a blend of transactional and entry-level Accounting. This person must be a self-motivated, curious individual with the ability to multitask.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and work with internal personnel to resolve reconciling items in a timely manner
  • Assist with month end close processes focusing on accruals, allocations, journal entries, reconciliation and various spend analyses
  • Perform daily credit card receivable and checks/wire reconciliation. Maintain, record and apply chargebacks.
  • Maintain bank reconciliation and corresponding schedules.
  • Maintain AR aging report and monitor collection of receivable
  • Complete AR/AP related requests from our supported sales team
  • Maintain prepaid and accrual schedules for contractual payments
  • Review and manage P-Card process and transactions
  • Read and interpret agreements, amendments and payment term exceptions and update Archtics accordingly
  • Processing of A/P invoices, manual checks, and wires
  • Provide audit support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ad Hoc analysis as needed

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting a must
  • Zero to one-year comparable work experience
  • Quality problem solving and communication skills
  • Oracle experience a plus
  • Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible, self-starter, change-oriented team player

The expected compensation for this position is:

$21.15 USD - $26.44 USD Hourly
