Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of large lifecycle cost productivity and revenue growth projects through the 5 major project management steps: initiating, planning (scoping), executing, monitoring, and controlling and closing.
  • Define the project scope (products, regions, functions), stakeholders, and high-level strategy.
  • Work with sub-teams, segments & functions to develop action plans, schedule, and owners to assure effective execution and benefit delivery.
  • Obtain buy-in from the team members, segments, and functional leaders to support the project. Communicate plan.
  • Identify risks and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks. Communicate throughout the project lifecycle: Status, changes, impact to other organization and projects, etc.
  • Ensure no fulfillment gaps during the project, quality and compliance are improved, project is within budget and timelines are met.
  • Execute and lead assigned variable cost productivity (VCP) and service revenue growth projects as assigned.
  • Generate and analyze various data sets needed to ensure successful project selection, execution, and post-launch effectiveness (i.e. quality assessments as well as business case development, etc.)
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate relevant KPI’s.
  • Create and deliver global training and technical support as needed for project stakeholders and users.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering, or Technology, with 5 plus years of relevant experience
  • Significant proven, progressive leadership in project management
  • Significant experience leading large, cross functional projects in service, information technology, and/or commercial operations
  • Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, communication, and execution
  • Project management experience in global environments
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry

Desired Characteristics

  • M.S. Degree in Engineering or Business
  • People management experience
  • Experience with commercial operations processes and IT tools
  • Project management certification, such as PMP. Understanding of Engineering Product Data Management system, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Requests, etc. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to identify & implement best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity
  • Lean expertise

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $108,000.00-$162,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
