Contracts Administration:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for contract management and legal compliance.
- Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation of contracts.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide guidance and support regarding contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Oversee the contract administration process, including the preparation, execution, and storage of contracts.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure all obligations are met.
- Conduct audits of contracts to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 compliance and participate in audits.
Legal:
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide proactive legal guidance and support.
- Collaborate with outside counsel as needed to ensure legal compliance.
- Collaborate with outside counsel to manage, resolve, and mitigate legal disputes and issues as they arise.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and industry standards.
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate matters.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach staff.
Job Qualification Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate law and contract management.
- Certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) is a plus
