Lead, UX Designer – Search AI Integration 

Location: Charlotte, NC office; OR Remote, U.S. Mainland working GMT to Pacific time zone hours, OR UK working GMT to Pacific time zone

We are looking for a Lead UX Designer to join our growing team.  As a UX design team we believe in a collaborative working style with a bias toward rapid prototyping, experimentation and a strong curiosity for our customers’ goals and needs.  

What you will do:  

As a member of the UX Design team, you will lead and manage a key product area focusing on Search with AI integrations. You will be contributing to our vision for the Intapp platform, delivering best-in-class product experiences, while also ensuring that our products work together seamlessly. 

As a Lead UX Designer, you can expect to: 

  • Collaborate, influence, and negotiate with cross functional peers and executive stakeholders on defining and delivering compelling and useful products, based on a strong point of view of the product’s evolution. 

  • Champion a human centered product development process within the Design team and with cross functional stakeholders: developing deep empathy for customers and end users; developing rigorous expectations on evidence informed decision making; holding teams accountable to a hypothesis based and measurable success metric product development process 

  • Present design solutions to partners and company executives, defend design decisions and incorporate feedback into the design cycle. 

  • Partner with UX Research and the Design System team 

  • Partner with cross functional stakeholders in the implementation and evolution of the product development lifecycle. 

 

 

 

What you will need:  

Intapp is looking for intellectually curious, self-motivated professionals who like to get hands-on to contribute to the overall success of the business and their team. To apply for this Lead UX Designer role, you will ideally have:   

  • 8 years' experience with Enterprise, B to B SaaS products 

  • Demonstrable experience with enterprise search paradigms and how AI is evolving expectations of search capabilities 

  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and drive towards crisp problem statements and measures of success with cross functional partners 

  • Experience working with a platform framework and considering the holistic end user experience 

  • Experience working with and contributing to a Design System and the React Framework 

  • Experience presenting design decisions to stakeholders, from peers to executives
