Workiva’s Product Marketing team leads the go-to-market strategy for Workiva's premier cloud-based platform. We are seeking a Lead Product Marketing Manager to create and manage global go-to-market (GTM) efforts supporting our Financial Reporting solutions of Capital Markets and Private Company Financial Reporting
The Lead Product Marketing Manager for Financial Reporting creates the GTM strategies and develops deep expertise in solutions within their focus area to drive buyer awareness and desired business outcomes. This includes product positioning, business analysis, competitive positioning, product requirement development and sales enablement. This role will lead initiatives cross-departmentally and provide solution and market expertise to various stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment on business goals and the customer point of view.
What You’ll Do:

Capture and detail user persona reporting processes for the Capital Markets and Private Company Financial Reporting solutions, creating clear assets that convey timelines, steps, and pain points

Develop in-depth persona profiles through customer interviews, sales calls, and product discovery

Craft compelling, validated messaging frameworks for sales and marketing

Monitor and analyze competitors and develop battlecards for seller enablement

Build a network of data and market intel sources for IPO and Capital Market insights to provide quarterly insights on market drivers

Develop Market Requirements Documents (MRD) to inform product gaps and roadmap considerations

Analyze market trends and past performance to develop forecasts and report on solution business health

Establish criteria for Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) for Capital Markets and Private Company Financial Reporting

Lead product launches and map customer Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) to technical needs

Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Sales Operations, and Field Readiness for successful sales roll-outs of sales enablement and support tools
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field
-
8+ years of experience in product marketing or closely related roles that could include: product management, industry or corporate marketing, and sales
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous business-to-business (B2B) marketing or product marketing experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) industry, sales channel support preferred

Preferred background in Capital Markets, Financial Reporting, and/or SEC Reporting

Proficiency in implementing product-led growth go-to-market strategies, approaches, and tactics

Effective communication skills across all organizational levels, spanning from buyers and end-users to executive management

Demonstrated success in collaborating and influencing cross-functional leadership teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, Enablement, and Customer Success

Strategic mindset with the ability to derive insights from data for decision-making
-
Proven ability to innovate and optimize business-driving strategies

Exceptional communication and program management skills

How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $133,000.00 - $214,000.00
✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
