The role:

As a Lead AV Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge audiovisual (AV) solutions across our offices and event spaces. You’ll lead a team of AV professionals, ensuring seamless execution of live events, high-impact meetings, and executive communications. Your expertise will drive innovation, scalability, and world-class AV experiences globally across SoFi Technologies. 

What you'll do:

  • AV Infrastructure & Systems: Design, deploy, and maintain AV systems, including conferencing platforms, digital signage, and collaboration tools.
  • Event Support: Oversee AV operations for high-profile events, executive meetings, and live streams, ensuring flawless delivery.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of AV technicians, providing training and best practices for troubleshooting and support.
  • Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with IT, Facilities, and Workplace Experience teams to enhance AV capabilities and user experience.
  • Vendor Management: Work with AV service providers, integrators, and hardware vendors to ensure high-quality installations and support.
  • Problem-Solving & Optimization: Analyze performance data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve system reliability and efficiency.

What you’ll need: 

  • 8+ years of experience in the AV/VC industry
  • Proven experience in coordinating the installation of large-scale AV setups.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen focus on customer service.
  • Expertise in installing, operating, and troubleshooting Polycom and Zoom video-teleconferencing systems.
  • Strong design skills for room layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment. The pace requires independent and confident thinking, self-motivation and determination
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting various Audio Video hardware.
  • Good organization and time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Ability to oversee AV events and ensure a superior experience for participants.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
