About the Role

Abnormal Security is looking for a creative Junior Multimedia Producer to join a dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video content creation, editing, and post production. This role requires someone who is passionate about utilizing the latest video production tools (including generative AI tooling), highly organized, eager to collaborate, and capable of managing multiple, cross-functional projects in a rapidly-growing startup environment.

What you will do 

  • Collaborate closely with the existing video team on the entire video production process for a variety of multimedia content, including but not limited to external marketing deliverables, internal employee enrichment, corporate testimonials, and more.
  • Be an active participant in pre-production tasks such as scripting, storyboarding, cataloging footage and scheduling.
  • Oversee and own all post-production activities, including editing, color grading, and sound design.
  • Build and maintain Abnormal’s growing multimedia library
  • Consistently collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the company to ensure video meets quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video production technology and techniques, including generative AI tooling.

Must Haves 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in video production or a similar role.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of the production and post-production processes including lighting, sound, editing
  • Proficient and experienced with the latest generative AI video software, and a portfolio that showcases this ability.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Be an eager learner and willing collaborator.

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with motion graphics and design software like Adobe After Effects.
  • Creative storytelling abilities.
  • Experience directing on-camera talent and working on set.
  • Familiarity with 4K and 360-degree video production.
  • Experience with live streaming technology and production.

Base salary range:

$66,300$78,000 USD
