Description

DEMO SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities is looking for an IT Systems & Network Administrator to join the company's IT System & Network infrastructure department.

Responsibilities

IT system & network administration and user support for a >1500-staff growing enterprise in the area of pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control and R&D.

- Ensures the smooth & efficient operation of the company’s Information Systems & Network infrastructure as well as their maintenance and upgrade.

- Supports end users by solving day-to-day issues & service requests

- Installs, configures, upgrades, monitors & supports IT systems (servers, storage, operating systems & server applications), Networking equipment (switches, routers, WiFi, firewalls, IP telephony),

end-user equipment & software (PCs, laptops, IP phones)

- Participate in IT & Network infrastructure expansion & modernization projects and IT & Security-related policies & procedures development and implementation

Requirements
  • B.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • Fluent in English
  • 2-3 years experience in relevant positions
  • Working experience & certifications with any of the following vendors / technologies will be considered an asset:
  1. Microsoft (Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, Azure, SQL Server)
  2. Virtualization (VMware, HyperV), Servers & Storage (HP, Dell, IBM), Veeam backup
  3. Network equipment & solutions (Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Avaya IP telephony)
  4. Endpoint Security Solutions, Antivirus, Firewalls
  5. Programming / scripting experience in any of the following or similar frameworks (Java, PHP, .Net, Python, PowerApps, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  6. Service desk ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, BMC remedy, other)
