About the Role:
Craft is growing! We are looking for a resourceful IT Operations Specialist to manage our day-to-day IT functions across both remote and office environments. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for technical support, ensuring our team’s devices and systems are running efficiently. Your contributions will span from routine troubleshooting to process improvements and IT asset management, all while maintaining a hands-on, scrappy approach essential for a fast-paced start-up environment.
We’re looking for someone who is open to a hybrid work schedule and is available to come into our San Francisco office. Due to this, we’re only able to consider individuals located in San Francisco, CA for this role.
What You'll Do:

IT Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary contact for support requests. Address routine technical issues and complex technical challenges.

User Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage and execute onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring devices and user accounts are correctly set up using JumpCloud as our IdP/MDM and Google Workspace for directory services.

IT Asset & Vendor Management: Oversee IT asset inventory, manage procurement processes, and coordinate with vendors to maintain a smooth operational workflow.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and detailed documentation for recurring issues and process improvements.

Process Optimization: Collaborate with teams to refine IT processes, drive automation, and implement innovative solutions that enhance security and operational efficiency.
Who You Are:
A proactive and adaptable professional with hands-on experience in IT support and operations. You have a knack for solving problems and a passion for learning new tools and technologies. You thrive in a start-up or small business environment and are comfortable working independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
Must Haves:
-
At least 2 years of macOS support experience.

Proven remote support experience.

Hands-on experience with identity access management solutions, particularly with integrating IdP solutions for provisioning and SSO processes across SaaS and other software.

Background in a start-up or small business setting.
Nice to Haves:

Familiarity with Linux environments.

Familiarity with JumpCloud or administrative experience with another MDM (JAMF, Kandji, etc.)

Cloud infrastructure experience, preferably with AWS.

Experience with Bash and Python scripting for automation and process improvement.
