Job Duties and Responsibilities
The IT Contracts Analyst is responsible for the strategic management of IT contracts for the organization. This includes managing the review, negotiation, execution, and administration of all contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and optimizing contract terms. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Review & Negotiation - Standardize contract review processes, assess proposals, collaborate with legal and vendors, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Contract Administration - Maintain contract records, track performance, manage renewals/terminations, and oversee vendor compliance with SLAs.
- Compliance Management - Ensure contract adherence to regulations and policies, conduct audits, stay updated on legal changes, and collaborate with compliance teams.
- Vendor Management - Build strong vendor relationships, facilitate communication, manage expectations, and address performance issues.
- Process Improvement - Identify and implement enhancements in contract management, adopting industry best practices.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, or a related field preferred. A technical background in IT is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in the IT industry
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in reviewing, negotiating, and administering various IT contracts, including software licenses, hardware procurement, cloud, and managed services.
- Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and commercial terms.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in contract management software, IT procurement processes, and best practices.
- Highly organized with strong record-keeping skills; certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM) is a plus.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
