Who we seek:

We’re looking for an Instructional Designer Intern for our Content Development team, reporting to the Content Manager, Michaela Byars. Our Content Development team is an extension of the Training team which is based in various global locations (US, Europe, Singapore, Brazil, Tel Aviv), dealing with the design and creation of all learning content that is published by BigID University. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the improvement of existing training content and the incorporation of engaging instructional strategies. Our ideal candidate is someone who has hands-on experience building interesting training content and is able to manage multiple projects.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with the training, field, product, and engineering teams to enhance and improve existing training content.
  • Incorporate differentiated instructional methods and multimedia elements to emphasize clarity, quality, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure that training materials align with the learning objectives and organizational goals.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training methodologies.
  • Experience with modern eLearning tools and approaches including video authoring, audio editing and narration, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills.
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the following majors or a related field:
    • Education (Secondary preferred) 
    • Learning Design and Technology
    • Instructional Technology and Training
    • Instructional Design and Media
    • Curriculum and Instruction

This is a 10-week paid internship starting on June 4th and ending on August 8th, working up to 35 hours per week. Hourly pay for this role is $20/hr.
