HRIS Systems Sr. Analyst

Job Description Summary

The HRIS Sr. Systems Analyst owns and executes activities related to People Data Management. This role ensures accurate and reliable People data to support processes and reporting while providing guidance on data utilization for business needs. Responsible for maintaining data integrity, supporting audits, and ensuring accuracy in People records and processes, this role also manages Tier 2 issue resolution for HR platforms globally.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Resolves tickets including organizational creation, process rescinds, data validation, and reporting requests within specified Service Level Agreement.
  • Troubleshoots process, data, reporting, and transactional issues within the People Team. 
  • Supports tactical light configuration within global platforms including table maintenance and calculated fields. 
  • Supports org structure, restructure, compensation, rewards changes, and M&A activities utilizing Enterprise Interface Builder templates. 
  • Engages in enhancement request testing and conducts analysis on data impacts for functionality changes and feature releases. 
  • Aligns data knowledge with People Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Benefits & Compensation, Payroll, Learning & Development etc.) and People partnering teams (HR Business Partners) to improve data quality and ensure data curation. 
  • Ensures People data can be translated into consumable business language driving tangible insights and outcomes. 
  • Meets set KPIs to ensure process and escalation strategy is met. 
  • Provides training and support to People teams as needed to ensure understanding of data - process outcomes, events, transactions, and reports. 
  • Executes data governance policies to ensure data consistency, security, and compliance with global standards. 
  • Develops and documents best practices for data management, ensuring clear guidelines for data entry, maintenance, and reporting. 
  • Engages with various stakeholders in HR, IT, FIN, and Compliance teams to understand requirements and align data management practices with industry regulations & internal policies. 
  • Maintains data security measures to protect sensitive HR information, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. 
  • Conducts regular security reviews and audits to enhance security, ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. 
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested. 

Team Collaboration:

  • Promotes a collaborative team environment. 
  • Provides input into process improvements and data quality through proactive auditing of data and seeking input from users. 
  • Works with stakeholders to influence the use of standards. 
  • Assists in cross-functional initiatives to optimize HR data workflows and system efficiencies. 
  • Provides solutions for continuous improvement in data management processes and system enhancements. 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of related experience. 
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience in Workday, JD Edwards, People Experience Tool is preferred. 
  • Experience with workflow process and ticketing systems including Dovetail and ServiceNow. 
  • Experience working in a global model across time zones. 
  • Able to differentiate between global and regional priorities. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS, payroll, and similar employee lifecycle platforms and procedures. 
  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of wider teams, planning, owning, and prioritizing their own work to meet customer and stakeholder needs. 
  • Highest personal and professional integrity and strong work ethics. 
  • Results-oriented, willingness to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion. 
  • Ability to develop cooperative and constructive working relationships. 
  • Collaborative team player with strong cultural awareness.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00
