What You’ll Do

The Head of GPU/CPU Commodity Management is a is a critical role responsible for overseeing the company’s relationships with global suppliers, managing the strategic sourcing of technology components, and ensuring smooth flow of necessary materials from the vendor base into Coreweave’s operations. In addition, this role is responsible for optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The individual will develop, train, mentor, coach, and manage direct reports.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply planners across multiple regions or product lines.
  • Establish best practices and standardized processes for global supply planning.
  • Drive performance management, coaching, and career development initiatives.

Supplier Management

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and service level agreements with our OxM partners
  • Ensure supplier compliance with sourcing, quality, on-time delivery and sustainability requirements

Risk Management

  • Assess potential disruptions in the supply chain and mitigating risks

Cost Optimization

  • Drive cost reductions through supplier negotiations and process improvements

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Leverage ERP & advanced planning tools (Oracle Netsuite, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, etc.) to improve supply planning accuracy.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Partner and collaborate with engineering and product partners to drive development, manufacturing and supplier management deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management in Cloud Data Center or related industry
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g.,Oracle, Netsuite, Kinaxis) is preferred.


Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,000-$190,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
