About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Google Workspace Engineer with deep expertise in securing and managing collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Box, and Dropbox within an enterprise. As part of a cybersecurity-focused organization, this role will be essential in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient collaboration environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in hardening systems, proactive threat detection, and implementing advanced data protection protocols across Google, Box and Dropbox, among other SaaS solutions.
What You'll Do:
Administration & Configuration:

Lead the administration and configuration of Google Workspace and related services, including Drive, Calendar, Meet, and third-party integrations.

Manage additional enterprise collaboration tools such as Box and Dropbox, ensuring smooth integration and data sharing across platforms.
Security & Compliance:
-
Implement security best practices, including access control, data loss prevention, and encryption policies across all collaboration platforms.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements, including GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
-
Proactively monitor system health, performance, and capacity.
-
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues across Google Workspace, Box, and Dropbox.
User Support & Training:
-
Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure timely resolution of user issues and incidents.

Provide training and guidance to end-users and IT staff on effective use of Google Workspace and collaboration tools.
Migration & Integration:
-
Lead data migration projects between collaboration platforms (e.g., from Box to Google Drive).

Integrate Google Workspace with other enterprise systems and tools, ensuring seamless workflows across departments.
Optimization & Reporting:
-
Continuously optimize Google Workspace usage, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and collaboration.

Develop and maintain detailed reporting on collaboration tool usage, system performance, and license management.
Advanced Integration & Automation:
-
Leverage Google Apps Script and other automation tools to enforce security policies, automate routine administrative tasks, and optimize secure workflows.

Lead integrations with other enterprise systems using Google Workspace APIs to streamline secure data flows while ensuring adherence to cybersecurity standards.
What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5-7 years of experience managing and administering collaboration platforms in an enterprise environment.

Experience in supporting organization to organization Merger & Acquisition activities
-
Expertise in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), including administration, security, and third-party integrations.

Strong knowledge of Box and Dropbox, including configuration, data management, and enterprise security practices.
-
Experience with identity and access management (IAM), SSO, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) integrations.
-
Demonstrated experience in data migration projects between collaboration platforms.

Deep understanding of enterprise IT policies, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues in a large-scale environment.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and support end-users and technical teams.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,000 - $160,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
