The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in product strategy and demonstrated experience in structuring marketing plans, program management, product planning, and content development. You should be comfortable working through ambiguity, ready to take on multiple responsibilities, and adept at conceptualizing and achieving ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and/or influence the long-term vision and strategy for a product and/or solution based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market and user research, competitive landscape, and business goals and strategy
  • Manage complex business programs, drive rhythm of the business activities, own virtual teams, drive the RACI process, and monitor/report on program success
  • Develop insights from market or user research, competitive analyses, and market and industry trends to drive Microsoft’s Go-to-Market strategies and create a differentiated value proposition that aligns with customer goals
  • Drive the development and framework of messaging and positioning with stakeholders and manager
  • Facilitate the building and executing of marketing plans and strategies across functions to achieve product revenue goals
  • Establish program measurement and analytics framework; monitor, refine, and report top metrics and KPIs

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in product marketing, product management, or relevant management consulting experience
  • Experience collaborating with others to develop insights from market or user research, competitive analyses, and market and industry trends to drive Go-to-Market strategies and create a differentiated value proposition that aligns with customer goals
  • Experience using data to measure marketing effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
  • Proficient project management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create clarity around complex business challenges, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate results to an executive audience
  • Successful history of driving digital marketing efforts to achieve business outcomes

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with various internal organizations
  • Creative problem-solving skills and high degree of entrepreneurial spirit
  • Attention to detail, with a high bar for quality deliverables
  • Well-organized; ability to multitask and possess excellent time management skills

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $110,000 – $150,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and as applicable, other required qualifications.
